Bowditch Middle School enrolls students in grades six through eight and is located in Foster City, Calif. It offers programs for students with special needs, including gifted and talented, at-risk students and special education classes. Its curriculum includes language arts, social studies, math, science and physical education. Its elective program include art, band, orchestra, drama, home arts, French, Spanish, industrial technology and marine biology. Its parent-teacher association and school site council support a variety of student-school related activities and staff projects. It has a full-time media center, broadcast studio and academic clubs. It offers after-school sports and intramural programs. It offers incentive and student recognition programs for academic achievement and citizenship. The school s library provides access to resources for students and staff in curriculum areas.
