We just moved here and was looking for someone to groom our cat, and found out rather quickly that cat grooming is in high demand around these parts as it was almost impossible to find someone who could do an immediate appoint after calling from lake worth all the way to Burleson. Finally I found someone who had a reasonable opening for a reasonable price! I took my cat to this wonderful sounding place called stylish pets for her usual lion cut. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told to drop her of between 7:30 and 9. After I dropped her off at 9 I asked when she'd be done and she said not until 4. At this point, I had no other choice than to just go with it. 7 1/2 hours later I got a call saying my baby was done. When I picked her up, I was rung up by another individual while the "groomer" retrieved my cat. I was speechless when I saw her! She looked like someone gave a pair of scissors to a kindergartner and told them to go to town. She was butchered! Out if respect, I paid and left without conflict. When I got home my husband was upset that I paid $48.50 for this "wreck", as he called it. My husband and I know that this was not a product of an unruly cat with a spasmatic behavior, as we've always had the same thing done in the past and have always been told we have a very patient cat. In fact, our old groomer only took about 40 minutes to get the job done which included cut, bathing, nails and ear cleaning. When we got our cat back from Stylish pets, she smelled like old nasty animal droppings. She may or may not be good with dogs? I don't know. But I will NEVER take my cat there EVER again!
