We have been going here since 2001 it USED to be good restaurant , know the place is filthy the food and service is horrible and the prices are outrageous !!! Went there for my 50th birthday and the whole evening was a disaster , we were given bad service cold horrible food and double check that were incorrect with wrong orders etc and a 20% gratuity put on each check !!!! Believe me I still think they owed us for going thru the evening !!! And there is no one there that cares .. Do Not Go , it is not the same restaurant it used to be .

This cozy little hideaway is a FW tradition, a gem of a place with a fabulous chef and very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is quaint, unpretentious, dark with candles and a retro jukebox. The history is deep but the pizza is Italian thin! Try the Cappucino Pie...absolutely delicious.

The sign for this restaurant boasts that it was established in 1953. Their use of the word "Original" in the name of this restaurant, is very honest. The restaurant inside and out looks to be in almost its original state. They have done little in the way of upgrading the decor. This might be OK if the restaurant appeared to be neat and clean, but it did not. It was 95 degrees outside and either their window units weren't working or they couldn't keep up because it was just barely comfortable. Our waiter was not very friendly and it took at least 45 minutes for us to get our food. The food was good ( a little pricey though), but we couldn't get past all the other negatives.
