General Info
Little Lilly specializes in Japanese items that are uncommon in FW scene such as Okonomiyaki, Chazuke, Nikujaga, Toro, Kampachi, Uni among many more at different times. We do not carry all of them at once or weekly so that we may take advantage of only what is fresh. This also keeps our regulars coming back to see what we are up to next. Our specials change weekly and our head chef, Jesus Garcia, will be glad to do an omakase-style meal. If you have any request, let us know and we'll see what we can whip up.

Provided by YPmobileWalked in and was instantly drawn to items one of the few tables in this place were eating: Wagyu Tataki, Pork Belly and the Lily Squid Pops.
Good flavor and mouth feel on the Wagyu: pork belly was a little rubbery as were the squid pops.
Nice tiny space, very intimate: problem is my clothes are going to stink from their fryer and cooktop that you pretty much sit around to dine here.
Very average food: don't make a special trip over here.

Much has changed since ownership change in 2012. 4 Star rating in Dallas Morning News, Best Sushi in FW by the Weekly and many great reviews in other local newspapers, magazines, online & blogs.
Hui Chuan also sells their sushi at Central Market. I bought there once and wasn't too impressed: too much rice with the nigiri, and rice didn't seem to be vinegared. But then, it's difficult to find a sushi place in this area with a Japanese chef, someone who knows his stuff.
Decent sushi and good teriyaki. Always a good choice for lunch.
