While maintaining an active state and federal trial and appellate practice in business and commercial, oil and gas, governmental liability, and construction and real estate litigation, he now concentrates his practice on representing and advising his business clients in commercial transactions and on day-to-day operational issues.
- Premises LiabilityWes Hightower is a founding partner of the firm. During his more than twenty-five year career, he has tried numerous cases to verdict, ranging from smaller vehicular collisions to large complex commercial disputes. Additionally, he has prosecuted personal injury cases yielding multi-million dollar settlements and defended multi-million dollar cases to verdict. His primary practice areas include commercial litigation; insurance defense litigation; personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including premises liability, products liability, and automobile and trucking liability; and medical malpractice.
- Personal InjuryWe primarily try complex personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, employment law, and trucking litigation cases (among others). Here at Blaies and Hightower, LLP, we strongly believe in the power of mentorship and learning by doing. A young associate will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful client relationships, take depositions, brief motions, and argue crucial hearings. We believe each attorney should be fully engaged in the case from beginning to end, rather than participating in a task-only-based approach.
- Medical MalpracticeGreg is a founding member of the firm and serves as its managing partner. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts, having tried numerous cases to verdict during his career. Greg is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is recognized as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Oklahoma. Greg’s practice areas include: complex commercial litigation and arbitration, personal injury, health care/medical malpractice, defense of agents/brokers, legal malpractice defense, products liability, and sexual molestation cases. Greg is also an active mediator.
