      Frey's Audiology Service provides hearing aids which may be funded through Medicaid or DARS (formerly TRC) as well as a steep discount for cash purchases due to low overhead. The hearing aid evaluation is performed by a licensed audiologist with over 25 years experience which includes 18 years as an audiologist for ENT at John Peter Smith Hospital. Popular aids include the nearly invisible canal digital and the Receiver in Canal digital. It is worth noting that today the main difference between wearing a hearing aid and wearing glasses may be that the hearing aid is not as noticeable- and it may even be less expensive.
