This is the only place I buy my cakes. Well worth the drive!

Customer service is terribly poor. Ordered a "standard" cake for a baby shower for May 16,2010. Paid with a check on April 3,2010. Called April 8th to cancelled due to thinking about why they said they couldn't put "blue flowers" on a "standard" cake however, they could put 'pink' and write "welcome michael' in blue. After speaking with three employees and finally the owner they said they would not give me my money back. Did I mention a copy of receipt (or contract as they call it) was never given to me. All I had was a price list of the cakes standard and custom. This is what is states "Custom cakes have a 100.00 minimum & 50% non-refundable deposit." Well, I have to admit if it were custom that would be reasonable (time spent on drawing and etc.) however, we picked a plain standard cake "no frills at all" and its OVER a month away!

I explained Texas law requires a copy of "contract" (as they call it) and we didn't receive one, we only had a price list with the total opposite being said. I JUST WARN EVERYONE TO BEWARE, THEY APPEAR NOT TO WANT REPEAT BUISNESS.

I've been using Creme de LA Creme for all my cakes over the past few years. There is always exceptional costumer service and the cakes themselves are to die for. I have taken a few cakes in to work for carry in's and they've always been a hit. Not only can you have custom cakes made, but there is always a supply of ready made cakes that are inexpensive and rich with flavor.
