I am very unsatisfied with the Coventry Peerless Cleaners in Fort Wayne. I dropped off a winter coat for my 82 year old Father on November 5, 2010. It needed a new zipper and to be cleaned. The attendant at the cleaners told me it would be ready November 19th. Okay, I can live with that. However, someone from Peerless called my Dad on November 22 and asked him if he had wanted his coat cleaned? My Dad said yes and asked about the zipper. They told him there was no record of needing a zipper (it clearly stated zipper replaced and cleaning on the receipt) but they would do it and get it to him by December 2nd , 3rd at the latest. My brother called to talk to someone there. The attendant is definitely not helpful or even interested in correcting a mistake. So today is the 3rd and the coat is not ready. This is for an old man, its his only winter coat and you tell me how cold it is today! We have been waiting over a month. If this is an example of their typical service it fails on customer service big time!
