It provides references in several areas, including literature, music, science, law, technology, politics, history, geography and medicine. The system also offers a range of manuscripts, maps, phonebooks, photographs, directories, postcards, and census and military records. St. Lucie County Library System offers children with an interactive program of singing, finger-plays and puppet shows. It also provides classes on handicrafts, babysitting and computer applications to adults. Additionally, the system also administers a book mailing service for senior citizens and disabled individuals. St. Lucie County Library System maintains a location in Fort Pierce, Fla.
