Provided by YP.comFresh fruit or squeezed juice - breakfast and/or lunch - ice cream and candy - or just an old fashion tour of a citrus packinghouse, Al's Family Farms provides an interesting experience.
Having moved from Fort Lauderdale to the Vero Beach area a couple of years ago, we pass Al's Family Farms anytime we take the "backroad" home from school. My kids love to stop in for ice cream. I particularly like the "old fashion" candy and fudge available at the front counter.
Potential tourist trap, yes. But you know that already and shouldn't be worried. On the numerous occasions I've stopped in with the kids, we've always found the staff to be friendly and polite. As I mentioned earlier, they like ice cream and have had a chance to meet Callie and Yaritzy.
Prices are competitive and not outrageous. You won't be offended.
Clean establishment, free parking, the "OJ Corral," and even a citrus packinghouse tour for your enjoyment.
