i.e., Just had a horrible experience from this company - we ordered a beautiful Level 4 Granite paid top dollar $5k to have it fabricated and installed - what a botched job!! Never seen such bad work - took them 3 days to install the granite and they couldn't cut it properly - all uneven - even notched out a 4 x 4 cut in the granite for no reason as they misjudged the window and then patched it up with pieces. The cut along the window was not straight and completely uneven - so bad it was 1/2 out in certain areas. This company does not hire skilled staff or their fabrication equipment needs much to be desired as the cuts were horrendous - looked they they chopped it out by hand! They couldn't even cut the back splash without chipping it! We are not making the mistake of paying for a job they won't fix properly and replace the bad cuts. I feel sorry for the last review - as they wouldn't resolve his poor job too. GVM placed a lien on my home within 48 hours of my complaint

Terrible. Damaged product was installed. Customer complaint triggered legal threat of lien. Owner would not listen, talked over us, and yelled at us - totally abusive behavior with no attempt to resolve the issue. Bait & switch pricing on undermount sink - one price quoted at time of contract and we were told to check with measurement guy to see if an undermount would work with our base cabinet so no price put in contract. At time of measurement, price quoted was double! But they had a signed contract and we were stuck. We recommend that you run, not walk, as fast as you can from GVM. No one should have to put up with GVM when so many competitors are active in this area. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and were stunned to find them on Angie's List who must have taken their membership fee without any background check since numerous complaints can be found online and with the BBB.
We had granite counters installed in our kitchen and 2 baths by GVM on 7/26. Coould not ask for more professional installers or staff !!!!! Thanks again, Jeannie from Naples, Fl

We ran into a sales rep at the local flea market and went over to the shop to visit. Met Marry and was very helpful with our selection. Being from Maine and just bought a new condo in the local area,we wasn't sure what to expect from this company. But little did they know that I was in the same type of business back in Maine. After several questions and hearing what I wanted to here, well the rest is history. Three days later my granite was installed. Had one little issue and it was quickly fixed.A good company to do business with and I will be doing more with them. Thanks Marry for your customer service. Gil and Jeri from Saco,Maine.

GVM did a great job with our granite counters but were not at all polite with a problem with a phone jack they ruined in the process. They refused to come back or answer our calls concerning this. The secretary called us back but her hands were tied with getting the onwners to at least speak to us. We finally had to pay the phone company to come into our home and replace the wall jack. This in itself is not a major deal but I wonder , if something goes wrong with the granite, how good their written guarantee would be???
