Fort Mill Prep is a really great school. The teachers and staff all make you feel at home. They treat and love the children as if they are their own. I highly recommend enrolling your children here!

My 3 year old has been going here for about two years and everything about him has improved so much! His teachers have taught him things like table manners, saying please and thank you, sharing, being nice to others, how to write, along with countless things about nature, weather, dinosaurs, animals, the ocean. I am constantly astounded by the things he learns every single day. The teachers are all so caring and anyone can tell that they absolutely love those kids. I feel so safe and comfortable dropping my child off, I know that they will take such amazing care of him. I cannot imagine sending him anywhere else. I really don't think he would learn as much as he has anywhere else.

I have 3 girls there 1 in pre-k and two ages 6 and 9 in camp. They have learned so much and love all the teachers! I personally think the have the best educated staff to lead our children from learning to become independent thinkers! I couldn't be more happy with Fort Mill Prep!

Our son goes to Fort Mill Prep and we love the teachers there. They are kind, caring, and creative. Our son loves spending time there.

My children loved it here. They do work hard to stay on top of the game. All my children attended at 2 yrs before they graduated and moved on the Kindergarten. Thanks FMPS!!

This is a wonderful school with caring teachers and staff. Both of my girls attend and love going to school everyday. They stay very busy doing fun educational activities and learning lots of new things. The school has a huge playground and outside area with farm animals and toys which is really cool! The parents are very involved and kept in the know about everything going on in the school. The teachers are professional and educated. I highly recommend to anyone with young children!

If you are looking for a child care service that will love your child, this is a good place. If you need any flexibility or are looking for a curriculum that will help your child prepare for school, I would look into other options. I have moved schools and my child has progressed more in 1 month at the new school then she did is 5 months there. They also only provide one option for payment. You cannot schedule your payments or use separate accounts.

This school is amazing. The curriculum they are teaching here is amazing, my daughter will be starting kindergarten in August and she is already reading! It's such a relief as a working mom to know my kids are at a school they love, and where I know they are receiving great care. My girls are always happy when I come to pick them up, and the teachers are all so pleasant and professional. Also I like that all the teachers education credentials are hanging on wall in office. We visited lots of schools and knew without question Fort Mill Prep was the best choice :)

Fort Mill Prep is a wonderful school! I can't say enough good things about the school, teachers and staff. My husband and I were looking for a pre school program for our girls that provided a nurturing and loving environment. When we found out the school has a small farm and animals we were really excited to try it out! My daughter had severe separation anxiety when we first started but the teachers and staff assured us that we can call as many times as we need to throughout the day to check up on her! They really provide a loving, home-like environment for the kids. It is a small school and all the teachers know everyone so transitioning to other classes is a bit easier. Since last year they have added a brand new playground and an outdoor classroom for the kids. I really wish I had gone to a pre school like this!

If you like for your child to take a 4 hour nap during the day and be yelled at by spanish speaking employees, this is the school for you

I have twins that started here just before their third birthday. My husband and I looked at many preschools prior to making the decision to enroll our children here. The original decision came down to we liked what they taught and how the teachers taught and interacted with the children. The buildings are older, however the love the teachers and administrative staff have for the kids totally out weighs that. I love the fact that when I drop my kids off no matter what teachers are there during drop off they ALL know my children, by name. The Admin staff does an excellent job of introducing new activities/learning regularly so the kids never get bored and continue to learn. My children are starting kindergarten in August and are entering the program already way ahead by knowing much of the kindergarten curriculum. The school is a safe environment, they have a Barnyard Attendant/Grounds Keeper that works with the animals daily to keep them fed and clean; as well as keeps the property well maintained. So bottom line, I would highly recommend Fort Mill Prep!

I love Fort Mill Prep. My daughter started there at age one after a horrific 7 months in a church daycare and then a fancy building daycare where the staff were completely uneducated and totally ignorant with so many things. Fort Mill Prep has been wonderful, the director and teachers are educated and take pride in their work which is hard to find these days. The school is one of the only schools within many many miles that has a AA rating for education, development, nutrition, & sanitary conditions. I am not sure what the one reviewer was referring too with the petting zoo as it is completely regulated for cleanliness and safety also is is great for teaching children responsibility, life cycles, and empathy. My daughter is going on her third year at Fort Mill Prep and I wouldn't change a thing other than not having to work so I could be with her more.

This place is very dirty. They have farm animals, which live next to the playground there and they don't take care of them. Oftentimes the mess from the animals gets to the playground. Very disorganized and unprofessional because

I have been using the Preparatory School since 2007. So far, my experience with the school regarding the care they provide for my children and the respect they have shown me has been beyond what I could have expected. I have been promoting the center to my friends and family as a place to bring their children. Also, their prices are far better than other childcare centers that I or my friends and family have entrusted their kids. I highly recommend the center to anyone who cares deeply for how their children are treated and like a break on costs without sacrificing quality.

We have really enjoyed our experience at Fort Mill Preparatory. Our children have been enrolled for 2 years and have thrived under the care of the teachers. The small farm is a great experience for them and they look forward to being there. The staff have taken time to get to know our family and our preferences. This makes us feel comfortable with our children in their care.

This school is wonderful I put my son in here when he was 15 months and he will be leaving this year in August to start kindergarten. If you looking for a brand new place that's squeeky clean and generic then don't look here. Fort Mill Prep has a very comfortable home-like enviroment and let's children make there own choices so that they learn as they play. I would reccomend this school to everyone, it feels like a family.

My grandchildren go to Fort Mill Prep School and although the building is a older building,I am really impressed by the director and staff. When I go to pick up my grandkids they are always happy and instead of running to leave I have to tell them "come on lets go".This school about the happiness and education of the children.( its not a child warehouse, like some of the daycares). The teachers are educated and will give you a report on what they have learned or are learning.It may not be fancy but it is the way I would teach my own children and so its the best place for my grandchildren.

Fort Mill Prep School is the best center i have found in the area. The classes have learning centers such as dramatic play, science, blocks, writing, computer. Lesson Plans are available on a monthly basis and I can follow along with what the teacher is doing in the classroom. The Director has a real love of children and it shows by the family atmosphere that you get when you visit. The barnyard with mini horses and goats is something I never expected but my daughter loves. The parent involvement and parent rep meetings that are bimonthly give parents a say so in how to improve the school or plan activities for the kids. My daughter loves it there and its not that money making corporate type setting. I highly recommend Fort Mill Preparatory School.

Fort Mill Prep Preschool has all certified teachers. Large classrooms with the lowest teacher/child ratio around. The tuition includes , snack and all activities. They have a computer teacher, "Grannny B" who reads stories each week, a African drum teacher once a month. The school has a great reputation and lots of parents in the area give great references. Tuition is 140.00 per week. Children learn as they interact in learning centers. Teachers do "Lessons" each day in groups of 3-4 children. School readiness and a "great place to be a kid" kind of environment makes this preschool the best choice. The Director will make time to give you a tour and offers a intake interview with parents as a "get to know you" kind of session.This preschool is close to achieving NAEYC Accredidation.Only 5% of preschools in the US have this high of standards.
