Founded in 1961, St. Jerome Catholic School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers classes in mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. It also provides programs in Spanish and physical, computer, religious and health education. St. Jerome Catholic School offers various opportunities to participate in sports activities, such as cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The school operates art, chess, film, French, Web site and garden clubs. It has a home-school association that plans and sponsors various fundraising events. In addition, the school organizes fairs and competitive events. It supports the Students United with Parents and Educators to Resolve Bullying (SUPERB) program. St. Jerome Catholic School is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
