Bought a mattress here less than a year ago been on the phone numerous times nothing but a run around would not take the mattress back or swap it out horrible horrible business practices would not recommend

Rudest owner of a business I have ever come across. Store was closed when it was supposed to be open. When we were tapping on the window to see if anyone would answer, the owner drove up and started yelling at us. He opened the door and dropped it in our faces. STAY AWAY

By far the Worst experience, bought a bed that at first I thought was great, did my research I thought! after 5 months it sinks and divits,Mattress Land and MLILY (mfg) have both given me the run around and terrible support/customer care for 7 weeks! Owner Joe acts nice than never follows up or follows thru, Robbie that works there is a completely rude and obnoxious person and should not be working with customers ever! I am ready to call every news station and have them exposed for the lies and horrible unprofessional business that they conduct there. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS.

I don't know what these people are talking about because I went to the mattress store on federal and Oakland park . Kathy was so nice and took her time with me and helped me get a mattress that is best for me! When it was time for my delivery, it went through seamless! I would send my mother to this store! Thanks Mattress Land!!!!!

Worst store ever!!! Do not go there! 1 star is even to much for them

I bought a mattress there, and was suppose to have a delivery on a Saturday between 12 am and 5 pm. As the delivery was not coming I called the manager who told me they were coming, 3 times! At 4,6 and 8 pm. The driver never showed up and I had to sleep outside my house.

On Sunday the same person told me after insisting a lot that they would deliver Monday night for free.

When the driver arrived he did not know about that and wanted the money. I called the manager who told me he never said it would be free, and did not care that I had to sleep 2 days outside my place and wait 8 hours on Saturday for nothing . He just told me I could give the mattress back if I was not happy.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Here it is!! Your company has NO written policy's, and makes them up as they see fit. Mattress Land is nothing short of people conducting bad business. Sales persons out to make a sale and not even trying to help the customer! I still have not received my bed nor are they allowing me to cancel my order due to non delivery!! I have retained a lawyer and will continue to pursue this matter till I get my full refund. As my lawyer has informed me, they have a 30 day return policy, starting from the date of purchase/ and or delivery.. You may need to bring the police with you, they don't seem to understand customer service.

Stay as far away from Mattress Land in Ft. Lauderdale, located at 3058 N. Federal Hwy. 33306, as you can. Buy at your own risk! Why you say, read and learn.



My wife and I went into this store on Valentines day, 2-14-13 to buy a mattress set. We decided on a set and paid for it on my card. (this is important, read on). The salesman said it would be ordered on Monday the 18th of February and delivery would be on Friday the 22nd. By 7pm on that Friday, NO Mattress set had been delivered. I called the store and within 2 hours, a mattress set was delivered. I didn't realize then that the delivered set was COMPLETELY wrong, so I went in the next day, Saturday the 23rd to report it. This time the salesman was a VERY Nice man named Harvey and he said he was sorry for the mix-up and a new set would be ordered on Monday the 25th. Two weeks later, yes I said 2 weeks later, on Friday the 8th of March, the second mattress set was delivered. This one was wrong as we. I believe the numbers matched on the ticket and order but the mattress felt wrong like it was an old model that never sold and they had bought it cheaper to sell as a brand new, current mattress. The so called box springs had NO Springs in it at all. It was wood and cardboard, yes cardboard. Now this is the good part, (keep reading.)



I now went to the web site and read the only review which was terrible. It talked about how a woman came out of the back shouting and acting like a crazy woman. Her attitude sounded to me that if I went back to demand a refund, they or SHE would not allow it. In anticipation of this happening, read what I did. This is the good part!



Since I had put the purchase on a credit card and knowing that no business wants bad information about them posted, I did the only thing I could think of to guarantee I would get my refund.



I called the Ft. Lauderdale Police department and asked it I could have a police presence on Saturday, the next day when I return my mattress set. I arrived 5 minutes before the police did and asked Harvey for a receipt from Mattress Land that I had indeed returned a queen mattress set. He said no and that I would have to wait for the management to arrive to approve something like that. I said. "well, let's see what the police say about this, they are on their way". He got on the phone and I went out the front door to greet the Policeman about 3 minutes later. The policeman came in and started asking me and the salesman questions. By now, another uniformed policeman arrived, then another. I now had 3 uniformed police officers there with the last two there to probably back up the first.



The loud and very unpleasant woman arrived and tried to tell me this and that. I got into it with her and she told me to get out of the store, after Harvey, the salesman had already said that he would give me a refund. The first police officer told me to wait in my car and they would take care of things so I went to my car to wait. All ended and I got my refund in hand moments later, and surprise the refund went through by Tuesday the 12th of March.



Moral of this story, if you are RIGHT, don't back down, call the police to be a presence while you try for your refund or credit.



If you have bought from this place and feel you have been cheated, call the police to help you.



Final note: Avoid Mattress Land in Ft. Lauderdale at 3058 N. Federal at all COST!!!!!



The one star rating which I had to give or the review wouldn't be published, goes to Harvey, the salesman. Too bad he works for this place.

I bought a mattress from this ...

I bought a mattress from this store 2 weeks ago. My mattress got delievered and an hour later I went to go put sheets on it. There were what appeared to be bed bugs, and other crawling objects on the bed. I called them up and asked for a refund. No refunds allowed. Why would I want to switch to another bug infested mattress.
