The Lighthouse of Broward serves babies, children, youth, adults and seniors who are blind or visually impaired. Skills taught relate to becoming an independent person at home, school, work or in the community. Safe travel skills, home management, personal grooming, financial management, computers and braille are included along with using magnifiers and other low vision technology to enhance any remaining vision.
