National Gypsum Company also provides a full line of interior finishing products that include joint compounds, tap and plasters. The company s cement board product line is supplied to many customers in the United States and foreign countries. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., National Gypsum Company has more than 50 locations, including laboratories; mines and quarries; paper mills; wallboard, interior finishing products, and cement board plants and sales regions. National Gypsum Company was founded in 1993 and was taken in private in 1995. Since becoming a private company, it has invested more than $1 billion in the business, including new plants, equipment and technology. National Gypsum Company maintains operations in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
