Tavelli Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. Founded in 1968, the school organizes various events and activities, such as book fairs, carnivals, special assemblies and fundraising events. In addition, it offers several before- and after-school child care programs. The school s academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, English, language arts, music, arts and physical education. Its facilities include a fitness center, playground, library, cafeteria, and science and computer labs. Located in Collins, Colo., Tavelli Elementary School is a part of the Poudre School District, which additionally includes various elementary, senior high and charter schools.
