  Make sure your teen leaves home with a clean bill of health. Schedule a checkup before he leaves for college. If your teen is entering the workforce, encourage him to find a family practice provider who treats adults.

  Pediatric Urgent Care of Northern Colorado (PUCNC) located off the I-25 and Harmony Rd corridor in the Costco parking lot.
• Flu Shots
  The Youth Clinic conducts Express Flu Clinics in the fall to offer our patient families a quick and efficient means of receiving flu vaccines. Please click here for further details. Flu shots can also be given at Well Care Appointments as well as an appointment with the immunization nurse.
• Immunizations
  Ensure your teen’s immunizations are up to date. Verify that all prescriptions are current. If your teen is leaving for college, determine which pharmacy will fill prescriptions.

  Tanya Shelton, CPNP-PC, is the newest addition to The Youth Clinic provider team.  She is a familiar face at The Youth Clinic, serving as a lactation consultant and registered nurse alongside Dr. Miltenberg since 2017. With a background in perinatal education, labor and delivery, and high-risk antepartum, her experience motivated her to pursue further education and become a healthcare provider. Tanya completed her master’s degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2024, specializing in Primary and Urgent Care through the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and holds a license from the State of Colorado.
