All I can say is that was the best pasta I ever ate on this side of the Mississippi! That Chicken Spiedini was to die for, if you go to Galati's get the Spiedini! I have traveled a lot because of my job as a stock broker. I have been all over Europe and Galati's makes me feel like I am back there: with the great food and tactful atmosphere . The servers are down to earth and very polite just like in Monti; a great area to mingle and have a glass of wine and pasta in Rome close to Vatican City. I recommend going there, if you are anywhere in; Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, Wright City, Warrenton, New Melle and are craving Italian food with the family. That place is worth your money, you can drive an another extra 20 miles to get to, "The Hill" and still be disappointed...

08/07/2012 Had wonderful creamed scallops for appetizer after delightful homemade bread seasoned lightly with rosemary was served to accompany our wine. This place is a gem hidden away just off Hwy 70. Such authentic Italian delights!! Service is personal and genuine!!!

My husband and brother and I went last friday...OMG we just fell in love with the food, the ambiance, the owner, the waitresses. We got a pizza and it was sooo delicious. I want to go back and get an entree next time. This will be my birthday dinner come December.

Tried them for the first time. The salad was great with his house dressing. They served a rosemary sprinkled pizza/foccacia bread with it. We moved on to a pizza which was also terrific and dessert was a tiramusu dessert to die for. We will definitely be back to try more of his entrees. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great little restaurant. The owner came out to ask if we like everything.

Great food -- just like you get "On the Hill."

Tonight was our first visit to Galati's. We tried the Pizza and the Chicken Spedini and both were excellent. We have lived in Wentzville for 5 years and craved a good Italian restaurant and now we have found it. Your marinara sauce was fresh and so delicious on both the pizza and pasta. The crust of the pizza was perfect.. The Chicken Spedini was cooked perfectly and so tender. I have never had the cream desert with the caramel before, but it was also excellent. Reminded me of flan,without the egg. Oh I almost forgot the bread, with the olive spread---Also very good. Can't wait to return and try the calamari and the white sauce.
