Established in 1999, the Governor's Glen Memory Impaired Assisted Living Community offers a life enrichment activity program that is tailored to meet the needs of socialization and physical and mental capabilities of people with memory-related disorders. It provides pet, music and occupational therapies. The organization offers exercise and cooking programs and aromatherapy. It also conducts life skills training sessions and social, recreational and mind-stimulating activities. The Governor's Glen Memory Impaired Assisted Living Community provides assisted living, nutritional and dietary supervision services. It also offers health monitoring, money and medication management, and family and caregiver counseling services. In addition to assistance with household chores, it provides appointment scheduling, pharmacy, podiatry and ambulation coordination services.
