I am not a patient of Dr. Alter but I attempted to see him. He answered his phone and was very aggressive. He told me he was booked and suggested I see another doctor, perhaps his wife. I was quite apprehensive about seeking the help of a psychologist and he certainly pushed me 10 steps back! I can't imagine what his bedside manner is like but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone based solely on how abrupt and aggressive he was with me. Thank God I wasn't on the verge of suicide due to rejection, he would certainly have caused my demise.
