For more than 40 years, Marchant Schmidt Inc. has been manufacturing stainless steel products and equipment for the food and dairy industry. Based in Fond du Lac, Wis., the company also manufactures equipment for process lines, packaging systems and pharmaceuticals following United States Department of Agriculture guidelines. Its list of products includes cheese-slicing equipment, coating line, ribbon blenders, wedge cutter and conveyors. In addition, its valve and machining division supports the canning segment of the food industry with its repair and rebuild service of continuous cooker feed valves. Marchant Schmidt Inc. caters to several food processing companies, such as Agrilink Foods, American Dairy Brands, Heinz, Kraft Foods, Kroger, Nestle's USA and Wrigley Co.
