Founded in 1978, PathWaysPA is a social service and welfare organization serving the communities of Philadelphia, and Delaware and Chester counties in Pennsylvania. The organization offers a full-range of social services, job training and employment assistance, outreach and residential programs. Its programs include residential, intensive in-home, self-sufficiency, community-based, and employment and education programs. Its self-sufficiency program involves ongoing collaborations among individuals and organizations from the public, nonprofit, business, education, and job-training sectors to establish economic self-sufficiency in low-income families. PathWaysPA serves more than 4,400 women, children and families annually by keeping families together, supporting teen parents and their children, providing in-home services to prevent child abuse and assisting families in attaining self sufficiency. The organization is located in Philadelphia.
