Great authentic Indian cuisine!

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.

This was always one of my favorite restaurants. While the food is still homemade and very tasty and the premises clean, the recent changes in the structure and restaurant service make it more like a take out establishment rather than the cozy eat - in that it was. Also, not so economical as it once was. The Dosas, a new addition to the restaurant are okay but I have had better --too much oil, too fried. I recommend it for take out or to keep in your freezer at home for when you want a quick Indian. Personally, I hope that they switch back to their old format which for me was 5 stars.
