They treat customers terribly. First, when we walked in, we were not greeted or asked if we needed any help. Then I asked a simple question about an ingredient I'm allergic to and got rude, condescending answer. I was treated like I was an idiot. I posted a complaint on their Facebook page and they deleted it without bothering to respond with a simple apology as any good business owner would do when they found out the offended a customer. So they don't even CARE if they are rude to customers. If they can't treat their customers with respect, they don't deserve customers. And, by the way, they're overpriced. Their competition Sugar Magnolia's Takery, about a mile up the street, is more reasonable and their employees treat customers with respect. I know which store I'll be patronizing from now on.

I went into What's Cooking today and had a terrible experience. I got a dish of enchiladas and I asked a simple question--did it have lettuce in it. Given that 99% of Mexican dishes either contain lettuce or are garnished with lettuce, I think this was a legitimate question. The response I got was a VERY condescending, "NOT HARDLY! You can't freeze lettuce." Not only was the woman extremely rude and arrogant to me when I tried to check out, she was rude the entire time we were in the store. When we walked in we were not greeted and we were not asked, "Can I help you?" at all. My advice is to stay out of this store and go up the road about a mile to Sugar Magnolia's Takery. They also specialize in casseroles, dips, vegetables, breads, and desserts. I went there today and I was greeted at the door. I was asked if I needed any help finding anything and I was THANKED for my business. I was not treated like I was some kind of idiot for asking a simple question.
