I spoke with an emergency room doctor in Jackson and asked him who he would suggest for back surgery, and without skipping a beat, he said Jack Moriarity. I have been getting regular nerve blocks in my back for over 4 years. So I let my clinic know at the VA that Jack would be my guy for my bad back issues, because the VA doesn't have a staff neurosurgeon. I called there today to find out when my first appointment would be and his secretary told me "We don't see VA patients."

So...the best back guy in Jackson won't see vets. Just sayin.

Very pleasant doctor. Helpful, caring, and sincerely concerned for his patient. Will do everything possible to avoid performing surgery unless absolutely necessary for the patient. I will recommend Dr. Moriarity anytime someone needs a Neuro-surgeon.
