Founded in 1963, Markowski Excavating is a provider of residential, commercial and industrial excavation services. The company offers site development, clearing and grading; road construction and re-construction; water lines, sewer lines, pumpstations and drainage ponds; demolition work and hauling; and custom crushing and screening. Markowski also offers a range of building materials, such as winter sand, driveway shale, golf course sand, mound sand, recycled asphalt, crushed gravel, crushed stone, recycled concrete, topsoil and clay. In addition, the company rents a range of equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, dumb trucks, excavators and compactors. Markowski Excavating is headquartered in Florence, Vt., and has a pit location in Plymouth, Vt., and two pit locations in Brandon, Vt.
