Ockerman Elementary School serves more than 850 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in reading, writing, English, spelling, handwriting, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music and physical education. It also organizes extracurricular activities, including band and orchestra. Ockerman Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that works for student welfare. It has an environmental club. The school maintains a cafeteria, media center and computer laboratory. Ockerman Elementary School administers the Title I program. It is governed by the Fulton County School System.
