R.G. Darby, the Alabama-based division of Atrium Companies, was founded in 1983. The company manufactures and sells a wide range of products, including exterior and interior doors, moldings, locks and other hardware. R.G. Darby produces 1,200 doors per day. Its facility, located in Florence, Ala., employs more than 100 employees and serves the Southeastern region of the United States. Its parent company, Atrium, is one of the largest, most widely-recognized manufacturers and distributors of residential vinyl and aluminum windows and patio doors. Its divisional structure allows Atrium to operate 44 manufacturing and distribution centers in 22 states and Mexico.
