Central High School, located in Florence, Ala., offers classes in grades kindergarten through eight. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as reading, language, mathematics, business, family and consumer sciences, social studies, science, and computer technology, art and music, and physical education. Central High School also provides special education programs to students with disabilities. It also offers cosmetology, health and nutrition, and driver s education. The school's library offers a variety of books and reference materials on language, and literature, science and technology, and art and music. It has musical band, and a chorus, and offers various clubs, such as language, and mathematics. The school s sports activities include softball, football, volleyball, baseball, cross-country, basketball, golf, and track and field. The school has cheerleading and football team.
