About Mid-State Plating: Established in 1967, Mid-State Plating Co maintains a modern 30, 000 sq.ft facility in Flint Michigan. Facilities include computer controlled and monitored plating lines and complete laboratory facilities for process control, inspection and testing. Mid-State Plating, Company Profile Founded by brothers Robert, Charles ( Bud ), Wayne ( Ed ) and Dale Stokes, Mid-State Plating began as an affiliate of Stokes Steel Treating Co. ( located next door ). Though now under separate family ownership, we continue to work together to reduce our customers transport costs and turnaround times. In April of 1998, we received our certificate of registration from NSF International Strategic Registration, Ltd to ISO 9002 ( with QS 9000: 1998. ) We are Currently ISO TS16949 Certified. Mid-State Plating Co is a member of the National Association of Surface Finishers ( NASF ), and the Michigan Association of Surface Finishers ( MASF ). Mid-State Plating Co is large enough to get the job done, yet small enough to assure the personal service you deserve.
