Business History

The original firm, MacDonald & FitzGerald was established in 1938 by Robert J. MacDonald (1914-1987) and his partner, Jack FitzGerald (1919-1995). Robert’s oldest son, Duncan joined the firm as a partner in 1968, which changed the name to its current incarnation; MacDonald, FitzGerald & MacDonald. Robert’s younger son, Timothy joined the firm in 1984 and has been continuing the family practice ever since.
