Community Education is a department of the Carman-Ainsworth School District, which is a school system that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 and employs faculty members and support staff. The district s other departments include food service, transportation, business office, community education, student support and maintenance. The district s schools offer courses in science, social studies, mathematics, physical education, industrial technology, family and consumer sciences, business, computer applications and music. The schools also encourage students to participate in various sports activities, including basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, cross-country and cheerleading.
