Flint Community Schools serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 through its elementary, middle and high schools, including Flint Northwestern High School, Anderson Elementary School, Bryant School of Fine Arts and Carpenter Road Elementary School in the state of Michigan. The school district also operates the Classical Academy, Manley Early Childhood Education Center and King Early Childhood Education Center. The Classical Academy is a college preparatory, high school that conducts classes in fine arts, music and theater. Flint Community Schools also receives several million dollars annually in federal and state grant money from the Michigan Department of Education to operate Title 1, at-risk and innovative programs in its schools.
