While R.T.R. Paving specializes in paving and grading we are a General Contractor in Flagstaff, AZ. Excavation and underground utility installation are also a large part of our company. We are a "Do it all" company that works on private driveways to City Streets no job is to small for us to complete. Paving, Grading, Seal coat, striping, excavation, site work, utility installation, engineered fill, top soil, trucking (11 trucks available), asphalt milling, concrete, demolition, along with several other aspects of construction. Richard Walters Jr. and Richard Walters Sr. are the owners of R.T.R. Paving, Richard Walters Sr. has been in Flagstaff since 1956 and has worked or been an owner in the construction business since, he started R. Walters & Co. Inc in the 1970's and it is still a dump truck and transport trucking company working in Flagstaff. Richard Walters Jr. was born and raised in Flagstaff and has worked in the construction industry since 1987. Our slogan for R.T.R. Paving is "Work hard or go home", our employees are hard working people and our employee turn over is minor compared to other companies in our trade. We have employees that have been with us from 20 years to 2 years. 2018 marked our 20th anniversary, and we are looking forward to another 20 plus years of doing quality work in Arizona. Don't be taken advantage of fly by night contractors that knock on you door and tell you they have extra asphalt, its a scam!!!! Always check them out and ask for their Arizona Registrar of Contractors licence. We've seen too many people get taken advantage of in the past years.
