Founded in 1995, Pine Forest Charter School provides learning opportunities to students through an elementary and middle school. Its schools enroll students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The district s schools academic curricula include history, science, physiology, math and physical education. Its schools also provide art, drama, music and gardening classes, as well as conduct foreign language classes in Spanish and German. The district s schools offer various activities, including storytelling, puppetry, creative work, singing and fairy tales. Additionally, its schools conduct painting, baking, beeswax, modeling and handwork classes. The district s schools provide the English Language Learners program. Located in Flagstaff, Ariz., Pine Forest Charter School also conducts several field trips and operates a parent-teacher association.
