Children s Shelter is a part of HALO House, which is operated by the Northland Family Help Center. It is a 10-plus-bed residential facility that offers support services to children. The organization provides personal storage areas for each child's belongings, as well as features 24-hour supervision and care services. Children s Shelter offers extracurricular activities that include movies and games. It also features playrooms and a backyard equipped with playhouse, swings and slides.
