Before attending law school at the University of Arizona, Mr. Schott earned his Masters of Science degree from Northern Arizona University and spent several years working as a research scientist in the Grand Canyon. He has legal experience as a law clerk at both the trial and appellate levels, and currently works with the firm’s Education Law and Business Law practice, representing school districts and charter schools, as well as several business clients. When not at work Mr. Schott enjoys exploring the rivers and canyons of Northern Arizona, and teaching his four-year old son to play disc golf.

- Construction LitigationMr. Tucker joined Hufford, Horstman, Mongini, Parnell & Tucker, P.C in 1992, after years of private practice and public service. He has extensive experience in employment and personnel issues, Arizona construction law (specifically, alternative project-delivery methods), and tribal and federal laws especially as they apply to community/grant schools on reservations. Mr. Tucker has also assisted with numerous in-service trainings on a variety of topics. He has been involved in a variety of public and charitable issues primarily focusing on children’s rights, educational opportunities, environmental concerns (recycling systems and contracts, public land trusts, co-housing organizations), community initiatives (Flagstaff Save Our Schools, Flagstaff Family Food Center, cooperative entities, community supported agriculture). He also helps nonprofit groups in the incorporation and 501(c)(3) processes.

Ms Dikeman says “the course is about introducing urban planning students to the legal bases for local land use,” so we wish her luck in opening the eyes of a whole new generation of students, and maybe a few more lawyers in there too. - Estate PlanningJay Dosad has officially passed the Arizona bar examination, and has joined Hufford, Horstman, Mongini, Parnell, & Tucker P.C. as an attorney, and we could not be prouder. Jay joined our firm late last year as a paralegal to Leslie McLean, assisting with estate planning and businesses. Just last month he successfully passed the Arizona state bar examination, advancing him up to our newest associate attorney. Jay is an intelligent and talented attorney who is a joy to be around, and we are very excited to have him.
