Conner Prairie is located in Fishers, Ind., and is a history museum. The museum center includes an indoor exhibit, restaurant and catering facilities, museum shop and restrooms, and is fully accessible to handicapped people. The museum s shop offers a wide variety of products, such as children s games; books and toys; handcrafted pottery; books on Indiana s past, nature, cooking, Native Americans and African-American history; handmade textiles; and gourmet foods, including jams, soups and candies. The museum provides various lodging and field trip options, such as school tours, and special interest and seasonal programs. It also offers a wide variety of classes, including animals, metalwork, pottery and textile programs. The museum provides more than 15 full-service catering facilities that offer services for private dinner parties, corporate meetings, retreats, wedding receptions and picnics.
