Andrea Compton, NP is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience (16 as a nurse practitioner). She earned her bachelor of science in nursing degree at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and her master of science in nursing degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis (IUPUI) as an adult nurse practitioner. She also completed a post-masters certification as a family nurse practitioner at Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY.Andreas areas of interest include womens health, adult and pediatric preventive health, and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions in children and adults. She also focuses on health promotion, disease prevention and health education partnering with patients to make healthy lifestyle choices.Outside of work Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and cats. She also enjoys dance, yoga, and teaching Zumba and Aqua Zumba classes as a licensed Zumba instructor.
