Coal Ridge Middle School has an enrollment of more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school offers various skills developmental programs and educational concepts that are necessary to succeed in high school and college life. Its recreational sports programs include several activities, such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track, swimming, and soccer. Coal Ridge Middle School also provides a variety of before- and after-school programs in art, music and world languages. The school s library houses a collection of textbooks, encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, and fiction and nonfiction books. Located in Firestone, Colo., Coal Ridge Middle School is a part of the St. Vrain Valley School District.
