      I have a daughter at the University there in Findlay that called one day with a severe steering issue with her car. Being two hours away and not really knowing the area, or any of the local businesses, I was very concerned about getting the repairs done without being taken advantage of. At home,i'm a huge fan of the locally owned and operated shops, not so much the big chain stores. My daughter didn't have any luck asking around campus for a reference so I did a quick search on line and Carko came right up. A minute after talking to Jim, I knew this was the place to go. He was very understanding and helpful. My daughter took the car in, Jim saw to it she got home, they got back to me the next day with a quote, and had it done the same day CHEAPER THAN THEY QUOTED! My daughter made many comments how nice everyone there was and how nice the shop was etc. The staff assured her that if she ever had any future problems to let them know and they'd be there to help. So, to any UF parents that have concerns about a auto problem your kids may encounter, I highly recommend Jim and his crew at Carko Tire and Auto!

      I was leery at first in dealing with new businesses when no one I knew had any experience with them. However, I found Carko to be one of the best experiences. If given a choice between someone charging less or going to Carko, I would actually prefer going to Carko. Their waiting area is comfortable, they have a children's playroom, not just a few toys off to the side, they give a choice of beverages and the staff was friendly and helpful, alerting me of a future problem I would have to have checked.
