Jeff took the time to fully explain what they were going to do and what permit I needed to obtain. Jeff also worked with me to to find the best field placement with the least amount of disturbance to our existing landscaping. I want to recommend Jeff and the Hartland Septic team to perspective customers. Jeff and his team are very professional and exceeded my expectations (not easy to do). The installation of my septic field was interrupted by rain and weather but I was always informed of what work could be performed and kept up to date related to the installation. From the initial quote, processing all of the permits, excavating and the final grade, all were done professionally and with a great deal of skill. I just got 5 estimates to pump out 2 septic tanks, I got a really fair price to clean both of them. They arrived on time, did a good job and billed me the proper amount. I will definitely use Hartland Septic the next time!

I called on a Sunday with an emergency back up in my bathtub and they walked me through how to find my septic tank covers and filter over the phone. He was very patient with me. In the mean time my bathtubs drained out but we weren't sure if I was going to need a plumber also or if the back up was caused by the septic being full. He said he'd have someone out Monday morning before noon to pump and clean our tank. The truck pulled in our driveway around 10 am. The guy that was here today explained to me that the back up in my bathtubs was because I was doing laundry and I was putting water in my tank faster than it was going out and my filter must have been plugged (since i just pulled it out Sunday and put it back in) i must have unclogged the blockage going out. I like that he took the time to explain to me what happened and he also told me that I don't need a plumber, cleaning the tank should fix the problem. He even had me flush the toilets and looked in the tank to be sure the flow coming from the house going into the tank looked normal. I really appreciate companies that take their time to educate their customers and give future advise on how to prevent the issue from happening again.
