I am absolutely terrified of the dentist (Yes, I am a full grown adult), and have never been able to get dental treatment without having anxiety and fear. However, Dr. O'Brien and his staff made my fears disappear. He walked me through every step of my crown installment and fillings, and made sure that I was pain- and fear-free every minute by minute. Any time I felt any pain (even the smallest bit), he would stop and make sure it would not happen again. Also, his staff is very professional, yet at the same time super friendly and welcoming. I felt open to ask any questions (about the procedures, billing, insurance, future appointments, etc.) and never felt awkward interacting with any of the assistants. I recommend Carolina Comfort Dental to anyone who is afraid of the dentist... Actually, to everyone!

Dr. O'Brien and his entire office staff is awesome. I've been going now a couple years and I'm always pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of his entire staff. The dental hygienist Amy is so good and extremely nice. It is a pleasure to have my teeth cleaned twice a year. I highly recommend their services to all.

I was new to the area and started some major dental work in another state. Dr. O'Brien and his team were able to obtain my X rays get me in within days to finish the process. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. I don't like the dentist and it put me at ease being in warm and friendly environment. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Dr Nance sold her practice to Dr O' Brein around August 2011 and its now called Carolina comfort care, at least that's how they answer the phone.The people at this office are very rude....The dental assistants and office staff are unprofessional while I was in the chair i felt uncomfortable. The last time went to the office for pain he gave me a filling and I thought I would feel better but after that I had an issue with hot/cold on that tooth. Then he told me he was gonna have his staff call in a scrpt for an antibiotic....3 days later still no script. Finally I went in and asked and the said that she didnt see anything for me to call in..... left and never turned back. When I went to another dentist a week later he told me I really needed a root canal.....so i basically wasted my time & money. I wish Dr. Nance was still there she was great.

Good prices for area. I called around and prices better here than most places. And in addition, very nice looking office ( new?). Not old and runned down. People who work there are freindly. Filling done, no problems.

I had a crown done recently and was only in a temporary crown for about 1 week. Last time I had a crown done in Virginia, I had to wear my temporary for almost 3 weeks. The crown was beautiful and feels nice. Also the shot wasn't painful. The lady that helped the dentist on that day was really nice and said this dentist only uses small needles andf not the large needle most dentist use. I'm referring my coworkers.

I went to this office as a new patient and the staff was WONDERFUL! Dr. Nance was very nice and my children loved her! I would recommend this doctor to everyone! The front desk lady was very helpful at helping me undertand my insurance benefits and scheduling my appointment when it was best for me.

I didn't even get to make an appointment. I called one day and I was asking if they accepted my insurance. The woman on the phone was talking to me about what they accepted, and their phone was really quiet so I didn't hear her and asked her to repeat. She started deliberately talking slow and loud and had an edge to her voice like she thought I was stupid. Then when she said I couldn't finish making the appointment because I didn't have my sponsors full social and that I would have to call back when I did, I was starting to say thank you and goodbye, and she had hung up. Well, when I got my sponsors social, I decided to call a few other places first since I was really put off by her.

They book appointments and tell you the wrong date... Then try to charge you a $35 fee for not showing up for that appointment. The receptionist is rude and impatient! Thankyou I will not use this dentist ever again.
