Bad Customer Service

I accidentally overpaid this company back in April and I have been fighting tooth and nail to get my measley $50 back from them since then and it's November. I have not once been able to speak with a manager either. My husband and I were very polite and understanding at first but were quite frustated now. They tried to initially say we did not overpay them and once we proved we had, they suddenly saw the credit on the account. Then, they told us that no one had even started processing our refund request after waiting God knows how long. Then Trey assured us back in the beginning of September that he was personally taking care of the situation and that we'd have our money in about 4 weeks, because the man who writes checks is only there on Thursdays. This still seemed a bit long but we were not hurting for the money too badly so we figured we would be okay since someone was finally getting us on track. After four and a half weeks we called because we had received nothing and he claimed the man would be writing us a check that coming Thursday, it would be sent out Friday and we would have it by Tuesday. My husband called to be sure it was sent out that Friday and no one would even pick up the phone. After calling multiple times he was finally able to get in touch with someone who wouldn't get him in touch with anyone in charge and told my husband that they had no idea and the check "probably" went out. Still nothing. Not even any follow up phone call of reassurance. It has been SEVEN MONTHS... I'd hate to know how they'd be if I accidentally overpaid more than that. I would never recommend going to this place based on this situation. Go somewhere, where they have good customer service and are willing to remedy their errors rather than give you the run around and stress.
