Fayette County High School is a four-year educational facility that offers a college preparatory curriculum. Its fine arts department offers classes in drawing, ceramics, painting, sculpturing and music. The school s science department offers information on ecology, human anatomy, oceanography and physiology. Its social studies department focuses on psychology, sociology, citizenship, economics and world geography. The school has more than 100 certified staff members and over 50 support personnel. Its media center provides books, reference works, periodicals, vertical files, DVDs and software. Fayette County High School has an enrollment of nearly 1,000 students and is located in Fayetteville, Ga. The school is also approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
