Established in 1906, The Arkansas Traveler is a student run news source for the University of Arkansas community. Based in Fayetteville, Ark., the newspaper is a non-daily college newspaper with around 6,000 editions each week that is distributed on and off campus. It is published on Wednesdays during the spring and the fall semesters when the classes are in session. Additionally, it operates an online website named UATrav.com where online daily posts and stories are updated as required. The newspaper features classified advertisement in the categories of housing, for sale, jobs, around town and services.
