My only go to salon Amy is the best at nails n eyebrows been to quite a few but solar nails is my go to spot all the staff is caring n nice very professional angel for hair :) n will never go anywhere else

Great mani/pedi experience and eyebrows have never looked better. I think some of the OLDER negative reviews are from before Amy owned this place. She's amazing, and has a great friendly staff. Definitely give them a try - I took my mom there for Mother's Day, and we were both very happy!

I have been using this salon since the opening day. Amy is the best - quality and service is the greatest.

This is my "go-to" for my hair and nails. One stop, great everytime, and good prices. I love Angel for my hair, and Amy for waxing my brow. All the nail techs are friendly and thorough and I leave happy everytime! I don't understand all the bad reviews.

I've been going to this salon for over three years, I always leave happy. Amy does the best eyebrow waxing! Hands down! Everyone makes you feel welcomed, and it is always very clean. There is a new lady doing hair as well. I booked an appointment with her next week for some highlights! Overall, great place.

Came back to solar nails and once again they did a great job. They were very friendly and courteous and did a great job on my nails for a reasonable price. If you haven't been here go because I will be coming back next time I need to pamper myself!

What's with the bad reviews?



I came here earlier today and the staff were very nice. The place was very clean.

I went in today to get my eyebrows cleaned up, and left with a gapping HOLE in the middle of one of my eyebrows and the other one has a permanent "surprised" look to it. Seriously disgusted by this place and extremely irritated.

Do not go to this salon. The salon is dirty, under-staffed, and unprofessional. Two other patrons were persuaded with a promised discount if they agreed to wait for a nail tech. They waited so long that when the tech finally got started, the patrons had to leave. The tech still wanted to charge her for 5 minutes of work after making them wait 30+ minutes. I received a pedicure but refused to allow tech to finish the manicure when I got a glimpse of the dirty tools she was going to use. If I had noticed before, I wouldn't have had pedicure done. It was sub-par service and they still wanted to charge me $5 OVER their listed price. I will NEVER return.

We were left waiting for 2 hours until they even got to us and during our wait the m-massage chairs did not work and when they did they left bruises on our backs and they also had no designs or anything so I payed 25$ just to have something done that I could of done at home without the wait.....will never go back again!

I got my first gel manicure during Christmas break while I was out of town visiting family. It was awesome. After 3 weeks still no chips, but my nails were growing out and I needed a polish change, so when I returned to Fayetteville I visited Solar Nails upon a friend's recommendation. The nail tech didn't soak my nails long enough to get the polish off of a couple of them and instead scrapped it off, causing my nails to be damaged. Also, she was pretty sloppy with the new polish and didn't bother to clean up her handiwork. I did it myself when I got home. The worst part is that the next morning the polish started peeling off, I think because she didn't allow long enough between coats for it to cure, and by the end of the day every single nail was ruined. So I paid $30 for a manicure that destroyed two of my nails and didn't even last 24 hours. Apparently the friend who recommended the salon has had much better experiences there, but I won't be going back.
