My son took his fianc, myself and my sister to Charley's for Mothers Day Brunch, 2015. It was delicious. We were not rushed as this place is very large and accommodates a lot of people. I would recommend Charley's to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
Great overall place to be. The scenery is the best in town, the wait staff is wonderful, the food is imaculate and the dessert is out of this world. Need I say more? If you are in Farmville, Charley's is a must!
I was in Farmville and heard about Charley's Waterfront Cafe, so I decided to try it. The service was great, and the food was even better. I had the Roasted Red Pepper Crab Soup and it was out of this world! You can dine inside or outside and have a nice view of the Appomattox River. They have a wide variety of food from sandwiches to filet mignon and even seafood. They also have a full bar. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have a live band play in the evening. It was an experience I will never forget and it is now my favorite restaurant to dine at when I am in Farmville! They even have their menu and a monthly calenedar of what bands are playing on their website!
