Among the rolling hills and vineyards of the Route Du Vin lies the newest family owned and operated vineyard in St. Francois County. Sand Creek Vineyard, established in 2002, opened their spacious tasting room in October 2008. Their handmade railing and beautiful double doors lead to a large stone bar with heavenly cupola above. You may taste their many fine wines and enjoy a picnic on the large veranda, complete with a firepit, and scenic view, and wildlife. Sand Creek Vineyard offers sausage, cheese, crackers, chocolates, as well as draft and bottled beer. During season, live entertainment as well as TJ's Smokey Meats and BBQ serve lunch and dinner cooked on site, can be enjoyed on weekends. Available for all parties and private events. From Farmington: Drive on Hwy. 32 East, travel 3 miles to Ste. Geneieve County Line. Turn right Sand on Creek Road. Travel 1 mile, cross bridge, Winery on Left. From Ste. Geneieve and I 55: Drive on Hwy. 32 West Approximately 16 miles. Turn left 1/2 mile past Chestnut Ridge Church onto Sand Creek Road. Travel 1 mile, cross bridge, Winery on left.
